WHY IS FRA MEMBERSHIP IMPORTANT?

The primary objective of the FRA is to promote and protect the best interests of the fuel industry in general, and the best interests of it's members in particular. The FRA ensures the survival and success in both quantitative and qualitative terms for all it's members in the retailing of fuel in South Africa. The association monitors and becomes involved whenever necessary with all aspects of retail fuel governace, distribution and sales in South Africa in order to protect and enhance retailers' interests The FRA acts swiftly and timeously in response to fuel retailers' industry needs. They negotiate independently and autonomously, collective and individully with : -

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS - NEW SITES

FRA has succesfully fought against numerous new sites being built which would detrimentally affect existing dealers. All members have to do is contact us as soon as they see the municipal notices - and the FRA will do the rest to protect your business.

DEBIT BACKS

Over 90% of debit backs have been succesfully re-debited to banks after FRA intervention.

INUSTRIAL RELATIONS

Many cases have been successfully defended every month on behalf of FRA members and FRA IR Manual is a unique product providing members with a custom made handbook for easy reference.

MIBCO/LABOUR

As an official party to the Motor Industy Bargaing Council, the FRA actively protects retailers' interests in all labour and wage negotiations.
