About Us
At the heart of South Africa’s dynamic automotive landscape, the Motor Industry Bargaining Council (MIBCO) stands as a cornerstone of progress, collaboration, and fair practices.
Vision, Mission & Values
A sustainable economy where MIBCO promotes and maintains industrial peace. MIBCO is committed to being the trusted partner in advancing social justice through labour relations for the motor industry.
Constitution
In terms of section 57 of the Labour Relations Act of 1996, this is to confirm that the process followed and the resolution to amend the constitution complies with the MIBCO’s constitution.
Strategic Plan
The Motor Industry Bargaining Council (MIBCO) provides a collective bargaining platform for Parties – employers and organized labour as well as services for South Africa’s motor industry.
Parties to the Council
The Council currently has four Parties, and they all play a significant role in the make-up of the Council. MIBCO’s Main Agreement for the Motor Industry is the result of negotiations between the employer and employee parties to the Council.
